M10 Samurai School

This week I am going to Japan to attend Samurai school. I don't know what to expect exactly because I don't know much about samurai, but it will be a adventure! My teacher just walked in.
"Good mourning class, today we will be learning writing and literature. As a samurai you will be expected to be students of culture and warriors." He said in a simple voice. "First we will be learning calligraphy, the art of writing. Take out your brushes and ink." I shuffled through my bag and found the materials. I quickly put them on the table and waited for more instructions.
"Dip the brush in lightly and make a strait vertical line. Now make a horizontal line in the center. from the right side, where the corers on the bottom are draw a curved line. And do the same on the other side. This is calligraphy for tree." The class owwed and awwed. "For the end of this lesson we are going to learn how to write a haiku poem. A haiku has 3 lines of 5,7,and 5 syllables. Write one about nature now."  For a while you  could hear ink dripping and scratching.  "That is all for this lesson see you tomorrow!" The teacher said and waved everybody goodbye.
The next day I walked in and my teacher was sitting on the floor with his eyes closed. I didn't know what to do, so I stood awkwardly in the door. Soon all the students showed up and the teacher awoke in his trance.
"Good mourning class, today wee will be learning the form of Zen. Zen emphasis on effort and discipline. When you came in, I was meditating. Trying to reach enlightenment. Sit legs crossed on the floor. Place your hand where ever, and don't move."
I tried to stay still, but I'm always moving. I peaked open my eye to see other struggling with this to. It felt like hours trying to stay still, then finally it came over me. I finally felt calm, and focused. We did this for days. Just sitting still and breathing. When it was nice, we went out into the garden to help us get calm. One day the teacher taught us about konas. He said if we wish to become enlightened we have to give up logical thinking. He asked up "What is the sound of one hand clapping?"
I went to school for months, but then I got my next mission. Samari school was fun. I even learned the sixth sense.  Now I can feel when danger is around me. I didn't like the was i learned it though. The teacher went aroung wuith a stick and smacked us when we were not expecting it. This was a fun mission! <3 <3 <3

M9

I am now traveling to Japan. Prince Shotoku was emperor since 593. This a man who made the Japans culture possible He has sent me on a journey to china to bring back achievements and tech them to him. So ow i'm on my way to china.

When i got to china, I herd... music? I fallowed the sound and found a few men playing interments. Flutes, and pipes. Even drums. I took note of what they looked like and how the men played them. They I swam back to Japan to tell Prince Shotoku.

Japan is many island made up into one, so its almost broken. This makes it hard for the Prince to control all of japan. When I told him about the music, he got his builders right on it. I helped him with the design to.

I got a job teaching people how to play the interments.  I even showed the Prince. Now he is a master at the flute. Now when Japan had party's, they play music and it becomes even more fun! It feels good to know i make a difference.

I heading back home. The prince even gave me some wind pipes to keep me busy. I have made many friends since joining TTI, and i have helped many others. I hope I will meet even more people next mission!

M8 The Americas

For this mission I'm visiting the Americas. I have been researching The Americas and it turns out, they have  a difficult marriage arrangement. First the grooms family hires a matchmaker, or atanzahab, and they go find a bride and interview her. Once the  matchmaker finds a girl that fits the groom's parent's needs, they meet and talk about their kids. If the grooms family likes the brides family, they will get married. Lucky for me, I have been arranged to be a atanzahab, let the fun begin!

"So what do you want your son's wife to have?" I asked a lovely couple. I was surprised to not see the groom their.
"We want her to be rich. And loyal, and pretty." The mom stated saying. "And be able to cook."
"She needs to be healthy, and want children." Said the dad.
"That is all for now, we will let you know if we think of anything else." The mother told me.
"Umm, OK I will get strait to work." I said and rushed off into the village.

I interviewed what seemed like 100 girls, but same weren't able to cook, some were not rich, some looked like they were going to die. Their was one i have not meet yet.
"Excuse me mind if I ask you a few questions?" I asked  her.
"Sure, I don't mind."  She said. I asked all the questions the grooms family gave me, and she got all of them. I set up an interview with the parents and then I left to go tell the groom.

In the meeting sesion, I could not tell if the parents liked each other. They all had a poker face on. The parents agreed to marry the son and daughter. I felt happy that I made this happen. They even invited me to the wedding.

The wending was grate, both the family's said thank you to me. The bride and groom look happy together, even if they couldn't chose for them selves. I  Think i'm going to return to my own time now, where i know i can make my own choices.
